Laverton and Balladonia mark the boundary to the east although it is constantly being extended.
The region extends just past Peak Hill in the north.
The western boundary is marked by the Murchison, the Mid West and the Wheatbelt regions.
The southern boundary is contiguous with the South East Region and runs from Frank Hann National Park, through Peak Charles to Dundas and Balladonia.
