This is a deceptively large Region.
The eastern boundary is the WA/SA border.
The western boundary is from about the Frank Hann National Park in the north to CavePoint in the Fitzgerald River National Park, 13 kilometres west of Hopetoun in the south.
The northern boundary is contiguous with the the Goldfields Region boundary from Frank Hann National Park, through Peak Charles to Dundas and Balladonia. East of Balladonia the northern boundary is with the Arid Interior and follows the Eyre Highway to the border.
